Globals

Globals are names or codes that represent assigned values that are used throughout a budget. This allows for entering a simple code into a cell or calculation in the budget and its assigned value will be used.

If a change is made to any Global value the system will automatically update every cell or calculation where it appears throughout the budget.

Delete a Global

  • Select the row of the Global to be deleted
  • Click on the DELETE GLOBAL button
    • You can also press CTRL + D on a PC or CMD + D on a Mac

If the selected Global is in-use somewhere in your budget, you will be warned that this convert the Global to its raw value wherever it is used. If you are sure, select Delete Global to confirm.

This converts any instance of that Global into its current value everywhere in the budget. For example, if the SHOOTDAYS Global was equal to 30 and you delete the SHOOTDAYS global, then every cell or calculation using SHOOTDAYS will now just have the value 30 in it's place.
